El-Rufai frustrated, declining, seeking to drag others along – Kaduna Govt

The Kaduna State Government has criticized former governor Nasir El-Rufai, accusing him of being frustrated and seeking to drag others along with him. The government stated that El-Rufai is a sinking politician determined to create drama and disrupt the political landscape.

The government also debunked allegations made by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) that they are plotting to rig the upcoming elections. The ADC National Vice Chairman, Jafaru Sani, had accused the state government of planning to use thugs to disrupt the election and buy votes.

In response, the State Commissioner of Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, called the allegations baseless and a desperate attempt to discredit the election. The government emphasized that democracy in Kaduna is thriving and that El-Rufai is simply trying to drag others down with him.
