Kaduna Govt: Nasir El-Rufai is Frustrated, Sinking, Wants to Drag Others Along

The Kaduna State Government has accused former Governor Nasir El-Rufai of being a frustrated politician determined to drag others down with him. The government dismissed allegations made by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) that they were planning to rig the upcoming elections in Zaria Federal Constituency.

The ADC also accused the government of using thugs to disrupt the election and buy votes. In response, the Kaduna State Commissioner of Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, called the allegations baseless and a desperate attempt to discredit the election coalition.

He stated that the government's role is to ensure a fair election and that any claims of rigging are false. The government has directed lawyers to study the allegations for possible legal action and urged voters to ignore the accusations and come out to vote.
