El-Rufai Still With APC, Says Ex-NIMASA DG, Jamoh

Former director general of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, clarified that former Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, is still with the APC.

Jamoh emphasized that despite recent comments hinting at a potential exit from the party, El-Rufai has not formally indicated any intention to leave. He described El-Rufai as a key figure in Kaduna politics, with a legacy in the APC that cannot be easily erased.

Jamoh also acknowledged the opposition's strength in Kaduna State ahead of the 2023 elections, particularly from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Social Democratic Party (SDP). However, he maintained that the APC remains the dominant party in the state and expressed confidence in its ability to secure victory.
