JUST IN: El-Rufai Campaigns for ADC Candidate in Kaduna

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has thrown his weight behind the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Federal Constituency in Kaduna. El-Rufai was spotted on the campaign trail with the ADC party candidate, Alexander Igoji Adanu, in Kujama, Chikun Local Government Area.

The former governor expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received during the campaign. Adanu will face competition from the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Felix Bagudu, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Esther Ashivelli Dawaki.

El-Rufai's support for a candidate from an opposition party follows a trend seen with other politicians, such as former Anambra State Governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, who recently campaigned for an ADC candidate in Onitsha North State Constituency.
