El-Rufai Urges Probe into Kaduna Attack by Political Thugs

Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State has written to the Police Service Commission demanding an investigation into the violent attack during a transition committee meeting by suspected political thugs. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) meeting was disrupted by thugs who vandalized property and injured several people.

El-Rufai highlighted a pattern of complicity and dereliction of duty by the Kaduna command officers. The petition urged an impartial investigation into the incident, terming it unlawful and unconstitutional.

The Governor emphasized the need for the Police to uphold ethical conduct. The petition was signed by El-Rufai's Media Adviser, Muyiwa Adekeye, calling for accountability and discipline within the police force.
