Bugaje Critiques Senate for Ambiguity in Electoral Act

Usman Bugaje, a former member of the House of Representatives, expressed his views on the recent amendments to the Electoral Act during an interview on a political program. He criticized the Senate for creating ambiguity regarding the mandatory real-time transmission of election results.

Bugaje stated that the Senate insisted that real-time electronic transmission of results was not mandatory, which he believes has led to confusion.
