Eleta Eye Institute Offers Free Eye Care and Surgeries for Olubadan's Reign

Eleta Eye Institute celebrates the ascension of the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja, by organizing free eye screenings and surgeries. The institute successfully restored sight to 200 individuals and performed pterygium surgeries.

Dr. Gboyega Ajayi, Chairman of the board of trustees, highlighted the importance of restoring sight and providing eye care to the community.

The institute aims to conduct a two-week eye screening to identify individuals in need of corrective eye surgery. Eleta Eye Foundation has trained 150 eye care professionals and received equipment worth $1 million to enhance eye care services nationwide.

The foundation also offers free cataract and advanced pterygium surgeries to combat blindness and eye diseases.
