NECO's Prof Wushishi and Emir Bahago Promote Tradition

During the inauguration of the Palace of the Mai-Anguwan Gidan Mangoro Mallam Sani Zagi, constructed by Prof Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar of the National Examination Council (NECO), and his traditional installation as the Maji Dadin Gidan Mangoro, Alhaji Farouq Bahago, the Emir of Minna, represented by Salisu Garba, called on corporate bodies to support traditional institutions. They highlighted that the education system thrives in stable and peaceful communities.

Garba noted the palace symbolizes unity and cultural heritage, affirming that development should respect cultural foundations. Prof. Wushishi remarked that the inauguration celebrated a partnership reflecting NECO's belief in extending corporate responsibility beyond examinations and educational quality assurance.

He emphasized that NECO's social responsibility activities contribute to the welfare of host communities and support traditional values. The community's peace and maturity have fostered a productive relationship with NECO, enabling effective operations without disruptions.

NECO also donated two transformers and motorized boreholes to the Gidan Mangoro and Gbaganako communities.
