NECO Donates Modern Palace to Gidan-mangoro Community

The National Examination Council (NECO) inaugurated an ultra-modern palace for the traditional ruler of Gidan-mangoro in Bosso Local Government Area, Niger State, on Thursday. Prof. Danlami Ibrahim Wushsihi, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO, stated that the construction reflects the community's peaceful environment, which has allowed NECO to operate effectively.

He emphasized that supporting the palace's construction affirms the significance of tradition and cultural foundations in development. Wushsihi noted that strong educational systems thrive in stable communities, and the palace symbolizes unity, cultural heritage, and the role of traditional institutions in fostering social cohesion.

In recognition of NECO's contribution, the Gidan Mangoro community awarded Prof. Wushsihi the title of Maji Dadin Gidan Mangoro. The inauguration ceremony featured traditional dancing and cultural displays, showcasing the community's appreciation for NECO's efforts.
