Emir of Katsina to Honor Governor Radda’s Son in 2026

The Emir of Katsina is set to confer traditional titles on three individuals, including the son of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, during a ceremony scheduled for May 2, 2026. The event will honor Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmuminini, Kabir Usman, and Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu for their esteemed contributions to public service and cultural heritage.

The Katsina Emir Council, through a letter signed by Alhaji Isah Ali Kankia, the council's secretary, approved this formal communication. The ceremony will take place at the Emir's palace and is expected to reflect the dignity and significance of the occasion, showcasing the rich traditions of the Katsina community.

Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur will serve as the chairman of the media public committee for the event.
