Emir of Katsina Turbans Governor Radda’s Son as District Head

The Emir of Katsina recently presided over a traditional turbaning ceremony, appointing Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s son, Alhaji Muhammadu Dikko Radda, as Gwagwaren Katsina II district head, alongside Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmumini as Kabir Usman Danmajen Katsina district head and Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu as Sarkin Mudurun Katsina district head. The event, noted for its large turnout, included notable attendees such as Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly Nasir Yahaya Daura.

The Emir highlighted the unprecedented attendance and called for unity, peace, mutual respect, and strong moral character among the people. He urged traditional and religious leaders to intensify efforts in promoting peace and social cohesion, emphasizing the collective responsibility of all citizens for societal growth.

Other dignitaries present included the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, and the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Engr Aminu Usman Gumel.
