Katsina Emir Approves Turbaning of Governor's Son

The Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, has officially approved the turbaning of three notable individuals as district heads in Katsina State. This decision recognizes their outstanding contributions to society and community development.

The individuals being honored include Muhammad Dikko Umar, the first son of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, and Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, the son of the governor. Additionally, Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu, the Hakimin Muduru, will also be turbaned.

The formal notification was issued by the Katsina Emir Council on March 31, 2026, and signed by Alhaji Isah Ali Kankia, the council's secretary. The turbaning ceremony is set to take place on May 2, 2026, at the Emir's palace, celebrating the elevation of these individuals to significant traditional roles within the community.

Surajo Yazid Abukur, the chairman of the media public committee, expressed delight at the Emir's approval of this honor.
