Emir of Zuru Commends Kebbi Governor's Farming Policy

The Emir of Zuru, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami Gomo III, commended the Kebbi State Government, led by Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, for its initiative of free distribution of farming inputs, calling it the most impactful intervention for farmers in recent years.

This commendation occurred on Tuesday during a visit from the Kebbi State Governor’s Media Team to his palace in Zuru, aimed at assessing the administration's programs and seeking traditional guidance for sustainable socio-economic development. The Emir noted that the policy benefits not only farmers but also marketers, transporters, agro-allied processing industries, and consumers.

He recommended a review of the distribution mechanism to enhance efficiency and transparency, suggesting the formation of a committee of individuals with integrity to ensure proper delivery of inputs. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for the provision of modern vehicles to his office and the five Chiefdoms within the Zuru Emirate.

The Commissioner of Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, led the media team.
