Emir of Argungu Endorses Gov Idris for Second Term

On Saturday, the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera, endorsed Kebbi State Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris for a second term in office. He described Idris's administration as people-oriented and development-driven.

The endorsement took place during a courtesy visit by the Kebbi State Governor’s Media Team to the Emir's palace in Argungu, part of a nationwide tour to highlight the achievements of the Idris administration. Emir Mera emphasized the importance of recognizing leaders who deliver tangible results, stating that sustainable development requires a track record of selfless service.

He noted the unprecedented development in infrastructure, education, security, and economic empowerment in Kebbi State under Idris's leadership. The Emir also praised the Governor’s Media Team for their public enlightenment efforts.

The team was led by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, who sought royal blessings for their initiative. The Emir prayed for guidance for the team and acknowledged the significance of consistent public awareness.
