Emir of Zuru Supports Kebbi's Free Farm Input Policy

Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi Mika Ilu Sami Gomo III, the Emir of Zuru, expressed support for Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris's free distribution of farm inputs, highlighting its potential impact on agricultural intervention and economic opportunities for farmers. During a meeting with the governor's media team at his palace in Zuru, the Emir called for a transparent distribution process to ensure that the inputs reach the intended beneficiaries without diversion.

He recommended establishing a committee to track the distribution and emphasized the importance of integrity and selfless service in delivering these inputs. The Emir acknowledged the administration's provision of modern vehicles to facilitate this initiative, which he described as a demonstration of the government's commitment to strengthening traditional institutions.

Additionally, Alhaji Yakubu Ahm BK, the Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, led a delegation to assess the performance of Governor Nasir Idris's administration and to seek counsel from traditional rulers on policies capable of driving sustainable socio-economic development across the state.
