Emirates First to Deploy Boeing 777-300ERSF Freighter

Emirates has announced that it will be the first airline cargo carrier to deploy the Boeing 777-300ERSF, marking a significant milestone in its cargo fleet expansion. The aircraft, designated A6-EBK, is set to enter commercial service with flights from Hong Kong to Dubai, carrying a payload of 100 tons.

This new freighter will represent a 25% increase in cargo volume compared to the Boeing 777F product freighter, accommodating 47 pallet positions and an additional 10 pallet positions due to its conversion from a passenger aircraft. Badr Abba, Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, stated that the induction of the first converted Boeing 777-300ERSF is a step towards optimizing fleet assets to meet the growing demand for air cargo capacity.

Emirates SkyCargo plans to take delivery of five additional Boeing 777F aircraft and convert more Boeing 777-300ERSF aircraft by December 2026, with three more expected in 2027, further enhancing its global freighter network.
