Nigerian Engineers Urged to Adopt AI for Competitiveness

During the 2nd and 3rd memorial lecture organized by the Automotive Locomotive Engineering Institute in collaboration with the Nigerian Society of Engineers, a call was made for engineers in Nigeria to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) as a strategic tool to enhance product competitiveness. The event, held in Kaduna, attracted senior engineering fellows and industry practitioners, including the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers Council.

The keynote lecture titled "Rethink Product Performance: The Profession's Impact and AI" was delivered by Gabriel Gambo Nmadu, founder of AI Mastery Academy. He emphasized that traditional measures of product performance are rapidly becoming obsolete and highlighted the need for a smarter, technology-driven approach to meet emerging realities and demands in the engineering sector.
