Eken Awazie Confident Enyimba Will Recover in NPFL

Eken Awazie, a 29-year-old winger and former Remo Star, has stated that Enyimba will bounce back from their struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Currently, Enyimba is facing a difficult season, having recorded only eight wins, nine draws, and eleven defeats, placing them 15th on the table with 33 points, just one point above the relegation zone.

Their recent performance includes a disappointing 1-1 draw against NPFL newcomers Kun Khalifat on Sunday. Awazie, who scored the equalizer in that match, expressed his disappointment with the result and emphasized the need for the team to work harder to secure points, especially at home.

He believes that with the right mindset, Enyimba, a nine-time Nigerian champion, can overcome their challenges and improve their standing in the league. The team is set to face rival Warri Wolves in Delta State as they continue their quest for survival.
