Enyimba Fans Alarmed by Team's Relegation Threat

Enyimba Football Club fans have voiced their concerns regarding the team's potential relegation from the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Ikorodu City on Sunday. This loss has left Enyimba in 14th position on the league table with 31 points, prompting fans to react strongly to the team's ongoing poor performance.

They expressed their surprise at the former Nigerian and African champions' inability to secure points at home, with notable fans like Chukwuemeka Onwuka, Chimaobi William, Godwin Kalu, and Benet Nwachukwu demanding improvements from the club's chairman, Kanu Nwankwo. Despite having four coaches during the ongoing season, the team's struggles continue.

The Daily Post also reported that Governor Alex Otti has appointed a new head coach, Emmanuel Gustav, and a new sports director, Daniel Ek, as part of efforts to strengthen the team.
