Aston Villa Secures Garnacho Loan Deal from Chelsea

Aston Villa has reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho on loan, with a buy clause expected to become mandatory if certain conditions are met. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on X that the agreement has been completed, with Villa manager Unai Emery identified as a key figure in the move after advocating for Garnacho’s arrival.

The obligation-to-buy clause is considered easy to trigger, with Chelsea anticipating the transfer to become permanent in 2027. Garnacho is set to sign a four-year contract ahead of his move to Villa Park, and he has begun the final stages of his medical.

The 22-year-old winger will enhance Villa's attacking options as Emery continues to strengthen his squad. During his time at Chelsea, Garnacho made 43 appearances across all competitions, starting 22 matches and playing 2,397 minutes, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.
