Chelsea FC Confirms Departure of Four Players

Chelsea FC has announced that four players will depart the club upon the expiration of their contracts on June 30, 2026. The players confirmed to leave include Brodi Hugh, who has been with Chelsea for 13 years, having joined the academy at age 8 and spent the previous season on loan at AFC Wimbledon.

Richard Olis, who joined Chelsea at age 9, has featured across several youth levels and was named in the first team squad for the UEFA Conference League trip to Astana during the 2024-25 season. Sam Rak Sakyi, a midfielder who made four first-team appearances, joined the academy at age eight and represented England at youth levels.

He made his UEFA Conference League debut against Noah and featured three times in the competition. Jimi Tauriainen, who joined Chelsea in 2020, was among the first-team substitutes in the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool in 2024 and made his first-team debut in the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Leeds United, as well as his Premier League debut against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ronni Stutter will also leave the club, having been on a month-to-month contract.
