Mikel Obi Advocates for Filip Luis as Chelsea Manager

Mikel Obi, the former captain of the Super Eagles, has suggested that Chelsea should consider bringing back his former teammate Filip Luis to replace Liam Rosenior as the manager. Rosenior was dismissed following a series of poor results last week.

Chelsea has appointed Calum McFarlane on an interim basis after Rosenior's departure. While Chelsea is reportedly linked with names such as Cesc Fabregas and Andoni Iraola, Mikel Obi believes that Filip Luis would be a fantastic choice for the club.

He expressed his thoughts on a podcast, emphasizing that Luis has the capability to manage a team that plays attractive football and has a clear structure and purpose. Obi noted that Luis could potentially become a top manager, and he is among the three names he mentioned as suitable candidates for the role.
