Chelsea FC Sacks Liam Rosenior, Appoints McFarlane Interim

Chelsea FC has officially sacked head coach Liam Rosenior following a disappointing run of results, which included five consecutive league defeats and a failure to score in those matches, marking the club's worst scoreless run since 1912. Rosenior, who signed a five-and-a-half-year deal, had only managed 11 wins in 23 matches across all competitions.

His last match resulted in a 1-1 draw, and the team currently sits seventh in the Premier League, seven points behind the fifth-place team, which holds the final Champions League spot. Calum McFarlane, who served as Rosenior's assistant, has been appointed as interim manager until the end of the season.

The decision to part ways with Rosenior was not taken lightly, as the club aims to stabilize the head coach position. Potential candidates to replace Rosenior include Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva, and Edin Terzic.
