Spurs Sign Savinho from Man City for £75m Deal

Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho for £75 million, with a further £10 million available in potential add-ons. The 22-year-old player will undergo a medical examination before completing his transfer to north London, where he is expected to sign a long-term contract.

This transfer follows over a year of interest from Tottenham, who had previously attempted to sign Savinho last summer, but he opted to stay at Manchester City. Last season, Savinho made only seven Premier League starts, limiting his opportunities.

Tottenham's head coach, Roberto De Zerbi, has already invested heavily this summer, spending £185 million on midfielders Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and Sandro Tonali from Newcastle. With Savinho's arrival, Tottenham's total spending will exceed £300 million, although they have recouped around £140 million through player sales.

Additionally, talks are progressing for Savinho's teammate Omar Marmoush, and Spurs are interested in Liverpool's Cody Gakpo.
