Tottenham Signs Savinho from Manchester City for £75m

Tottenham Hotspur has completed the signing of Brazilian winger Savinho from Manchester City for an initial fee of £75 million, with the deal subject to a work permit. The transfer could ultimately cost Spurs an additional £10 million in performance-related add-ons.

Savinho, 22, has signed a long-term contract with Tottenham, concluding the club's pursuit of him after a failed attempt last summer. He had opted to remain at Manchester City but struggled for regular playing time under manager Pep Guardiola, starting only seven Premier League matches last season.

Savinho joined Manchester City from French club Troyes in a £30.8 million deal in 2024, making 84 appearances and scoring seven goals while providing 16 assists. Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi played a crucial role in convincing Savinho to join, emphasizing the opportunity for growth at the club.

Sporting director Johan Lange stated that Savinho has been on their radar for some time and believes he will excite the supporters.
