Tottenham Signs Omar Marmoush on Loan from Man City

Tottenham Hotspur has officially signed forward Omar Marmoush on loan from Manchester City until the end of the current season, with an obligation to make the deal permanent for £60 million next summer. The 27-year-old Egypt international will reunite with former City teammate Savio at Spurs.

Marmoush stated that Tottenham is one of the biggest clubs in England and found the project attractive. He expressed enthusiasm after speaking with head coach Roberto de Zerbi, indicating a shared passion for the game.

Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million in January 2025 and has scored 16 goals in 62 appearances for the club. Last season, he made 13 of his 21 league appearances as a substitute, primarily due to the presence of Erling Haaland as the preferred striker.

De Zerbi praised Marmoush's ambition, attacking quality, and desire to improve, believing he will enhance the team's attacking capabilities.
