Eric Chelle has challenged the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to pay him off if they want him to step down as the coach, as his future with the team comes under scrutiny after their recent disappointing performance. The Eagles suffered defeats against Senegal and Sudan, leading to an early exit from the group stage and sparking debates about Chelle's suitability to lead Nigeria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
