EU, Estonia, and Finland to Build Nigeria's Digital Infrastructure

The European Union, through its ambassador to Nigeria, Guatier Mignot, has pledged to collaborate with Estonia and Finland to develop Nigeria's digital infrastructure. This commitment was made during the Nigeria GovTech Conference in Abuja.

The initiative aims to leverage advanced digital technologies, such as Estonia's X-Road system, to enhance public sector connectivity and data protection. Nigerian officials, including Dr.

Bosun Tijani and Sen. George Akume, highlighted the potential of this partnership to drive digital transformation, stimulate economic growth, and improve governance.

Dr. Dasuki Arabi of the BPSR also emphasized Nigeria's international recognition for its digital transformation efforts, winning awards for inclusive governance and technology adoption.
