Ndidi's Assist Leads Besiktas to Europa League Victory

Wilfred Ndidi, the Super Eagles Captain, commenced his new season positively by assisting Besiktas in their UEFA Europa League third qualifying round first leg, securing a 1-0 win against Hradec Kralove. Ndidi, who recently recovered from an injury that kept him out for the entirety of the previous season in Turkey, entered the match as a substitute in the 76th minute.

Just four minutes after his introduction, he delivered a crucial pass that allowed Semih Kilicsoy to score with a powerful header following a rebound. This performance was particularly welcomed by Besiktas Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who sought an advantage ahead of the return leg in Istanbul.
