Keyamo Predicts Tinubu's Victory Over Atiku, Obi in 2027

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, predicted that President Bola Tinubu will defeat opposition leaders Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election. During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Keyamo expressed confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would maintain power, citing the government's achievements as a reason for public support.

He dismissed Peter Obi's electoral chances, questioning where his votes would come from. Keyamo also downplayed Atiku Abubakar's potential challenge, stating that the 2027 election would be a "coronation" based on demographic calculations.

He clarified that his comments were not an implication of rigging but rather a reflection of electoral demographics. Keyamo concluded the interview with a light-hearted remark in pidgin, saying, “Everywhere go blur.” His comments followed a criticism of an earlier interview with Obi regarding an incident involving his vehicle at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
