Malami Condoles El-Rufai on Mother's Passing in Cairo

Abubakar Malami, who served as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, extended his condolences to Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, over the passing of El-Rufai's mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai. Hajiya Umma passed away on March 27, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt, where she was receiving medical care for health complications.

In a statement, Malami conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of himself and his family, describing the death as a profound loss and an irreplaceable pain. He prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdau and to provide the El-Rufai family with the strength to bear this loss.
