Mose Alak Adeyemo Elected Oyo APC Chairman Unanimously

On Tuesday, Mose Alak Adeyemo was unanimously elected as the new chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a state congress held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan. The congress was supervised by representatives from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and attracted party leaders and delegates from all 33 local government areas of the state.

Adeyemo, who previously served as the deputy governor under the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi from 2011 to 2019, was seen as a strategic choice for the party's future political engagements. The congress was conducted peacefully, and Adeyemo's election is viewed as a significant move for the APC in Oyo State, especially with upcoming elections on the horizon.

Additionally, Wasiu Olawal Sadar was returned as the public secretary of the party.
