Ex-Diplomat Advocates for Education Without Geographical Limits at Iroko Community Grammar School Anniversary

Ambassador Akinremi Bolaji, a retired diplomat, emphasized the importance of prioritizing education without geographical limitations during the 60th-anniversary celebration of Iroko Community Grammar School in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Bolaji, the pioneer Global President of the Iroko Community Grammar School Old Students Association (ICGSOSA), highlighted the school's ability to produce notable alumni despite its rural location.

He urged the government, stakeholders, and the association to ensure the restoration of the school to its former glory by addressing challenges such as infrastructure and learning conditions. The association plans to embark on various legacy projects, including rehabilitating key classroom blocks and enhancing teaching facilities to improve learning outcomes.

Bolaji emphasized the need for transparency, unity, and purpose in executing the anniversary events and legacy projects to secure a stronger future for the school.
