Sola Ebiseni Joins APC, Backs Tinubu's 2027 Bid

Sola Ebiseni, the former South-West Coordinator of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 election, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ebiseni, who also serves as the Secretary-General of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organization Afenifere, expressed his support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election during a visit to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the Government House in Akure.

Ebiseni stated that he and his supporters have been integrated into the APC campaign structure for the upcoming elections. Governor Aiyedatiwa acknowledged Ebiseni's political experience and his contributions to various socio-cultural organizations, asserting that these would enhance the campaign for Tinubu's re-election.

Ebiseni emphasized that his decision was made in the national interest, indicating that he represents a larger group of Nigerians who have engaged with political leaders across the country. He plans to publicly share the findings that led to their support for Tinubu's second term.
