Ex-Lawmaker Lawrence Ezeudu Defects from APC to ADC in Anambra State

Lawrence Ezeudu, a former Chief Whip representing Dunukofia Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, has defected from the APC to the ADC. Ezeudu announced his defection in a letter addressed to the ADC chairman of Ifitedunu Ward 2 in Dunukofia Local Government Area.

He highlighted the crises and poor leadership within the APC at the local and state levels as reasons for his decision. Ezeudu expressed his commitment to aligning with his personal political convictions and beliefs in the ADC's platform.

He emphasized his support for Peter Obi and the ADC's vision for a new Nigeria. Lawrence Akoba, the ADC chairman of Ifitedunu Ward 2, assured Ezeudu of support and promised to deliver the ward in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Ezeudu's defection was supported by members of the Progress Grand Alliance, APC, and Labour Party. The event had notable figures like former deputy governorship candidate Chief Nduibusi Nwobu and Prof.
