Anambra Ex-Lawmaker Ezeudu Defects from APC to ADC, Endorses Peter Obi for 2027 Elections

Former Anambra State House of Assembly Chief Whip, Ezeudu, officially defects from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Ezeudu submitted his defection letter to the ADC chairman of Ifitedunu Ward 2, Lawrence Akoba, during a brief event at his residence in Umanugwo village, Ifitedunu.

He criticized APC's leadership at local and state levels, attributing his exit to the party's persistent internal crises. Ezeudu expressed full support for ADC's national leadership and endorsed former presidential candidate Peter Obi for the 2027 general elections.

The defection event in Dunukofia drew a crowd of political supporters, including members of APC, Progress Grand Alliance (APGA), and Labour Party who joined Ezeudu in switching allegiance to ADC. The ADC ward chairman, Lawrence Akoba, welcomed Ezeudu and pledged the party's commitment to securing victory in the upcoming elections.
