Pep Guardiola Rejects Italy National Team Coaching Offer

Pep Guardiola, the former manager of Manchester City, has turned down the opportunity to become the head coach of the Italy national football team. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Guardiola "said no" to the proposal made by the Italian Football Federation.

The decision came after Guardiola considered the offer this week but ultimately chose to focus on spending time with his family and plans to return to football at a later date. Guardiola managed Manchester City from 2016 until the end of the 2025-2026 season, during which he led the team to numerous accolades, including the UEFA Champions League and several Premier League titles.

His tenure at Manchester City lasted for ten years, concluding at the end of the last season.
