Ogun State's Former HoS Calls for Diaspora Investment

Kehinde Onasanya, the former Head of Service of Ogun State, called for diaspora investment in Ogun State during his keynote address at the Ogun State 50 London Summit held at Woolwich Common Community Centre in London. He highlighted the state's emergence as an attractive destination for both local and foreign investors, citing its strategic location, improved infrastructure, and business-friendly policies.

Onasanya noted that the ongoing public service reforms are positioned to foster greater economic growth over the next decade. He emphasized the importance of contributions from Nigerians abroad, not just financially but also through intellectual and skill resources, which he described as invaluable assets for Ogun State's development.

The event, attended by Nigeria's High Commissioner to the UK, Aminu Dalhatu, and Chief Jumok Ariyo, featured awards recognizing excellence in public service and celebrated Ogun State's 50th anniversary since its creation on February 3, 1976.
