Former Abia State Speaker Named Chair of Pro-Tinubu APC Group

Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, a former two-term lawmaker and the 11th Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly from 2019 to 2023, has been named the State Chairman of the City Boi Movement, a pro-Bola Tinubu group within the All Progressives Congress (APC). Orji is known for championing legislative independence and institutional stability during his tenure.

Mayor Lucky Igbokw, the Director of the City Boi Movement in Abia State, described Orji as a professional with expertise in politics. Orji's focus is on empowering youth and women, with his signature projects aimed at livelihood support.

His appointment is seen as a significant step towards strengthening the APC's structure and expanding its grassroots reach in Abia State. Orji's leadership is expected to deepen political participation, organizational growth, and support for President Bola Tinubu's agenda in the state.
