Abia APC Backs Tinubu, Supports Kalu for 2027 Elections

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rallied behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, reinforcing their confidence in Kalu's leadership. During a stakeholders' meeting held in Bend Bend Local Government Area, various influential politicians, including Chris Nkwonta, Nkiru Onyejiocha, and Nkechi Nwogu, demonstrated their support for Tinubu's agenda and Kalu's role as a unifying force within the party.

The meeting aimed to adopt a sole candidate for the presidency in the upcoming 2027 elections, with Kalu advocating for unity and peace among party members. The attendees included former local government chairmen and members of the state assembly, all passing a vote of confidence in Tinubu's leadership.
