Landon Emenalo Joins Celtic on Loan from Chelsea

Landon Emenalo, the son of former Super Eagles defender and ex-Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo, has joined Scottish club Celtic on loan from Chelsea. The 18-year-old, who can play in both defense and midfield, will spend the entire season in Scotland to gain valuable first-team experience.

Emenalo was part of Chelsea’s senior squad during their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia and played in a match against A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers. Chelsea stated that this loan move is an important opportunity for Emenalo to continue his development at the senior level, wishing him "good luck" during his time at Celtic.

He joined Chelsea’s Academy at the age of seven and has been a regular starter for Chelsea Under-21s, contributing to their top finish in the Premier League 2 table. Emenalo also played a key role in Chelsea’s Under-18s national championship victory over Manchester City.

Chelsea will monitor his progress while he is on loan.
