Amokachi Completes CAF A Licence for Coaching Career

Daniel Amokachi, a legendary figure in Nigerian football and former striker for the Super Eagles, has successfully completed the CAF A Coaching Licence programme in Morocco. This qualification is a crucial milestone in his transition from player to football management, enhancing his credentials for a coaching career.

The CAF A Licence provides advanced training in tactical organisation, technical development, match preparation, and team management. Amokachi, known for his powerful playing style and determination, was part of the Super Eagles team that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and represented Nigeria in the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups.

Following his retirement, he has gradually moved into coaching and technical roles, demonstrating his commitment to a long-term future in football management. His achievement aligns him with other celebrated former players who have transitioned into coaching, such as Vincent Kompany and Frank Lampard.

Amokachi's new qualification positions him to contribute significantly to the development of Nigerian football from a technical standpoint.
