Advocating Purpose-Driven Leadership for Nigeria's Growth

Jide Adeyemi, a brand strategist and leadership architect, spoke at a colloquium in Lagos, where he presented his book, "Life Guide." He emphasized that Nigeria's major challenge is not the lack of capable leaders but the absence of continuity and genuine concern for citizens in governance. Adeyemi criticized political leaders who enter government without a clear purpose, often abandoning programs initiated by their predecessors in favor of personal agendas.

He noted that sustainable leadership requires leaders who are genuinely committed to making a lasting impact. Adeyemi described Nigeria as a country rich in human capital but hindered by inconsistent leadership approaches.

He argued that no society can thrive without stable leadership and strong values. Atoyota Alleluya Akpobom, a journalist and comedian, urged Nigerians to develop talent and create opportunities that benefit society.

He stressed that true success comes from empowering others and recognizing contributions to societal progress.
