NiRA Promotes Digital Sovereignty at Tech Convergence Conference

The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) is set to promote digital sovereignty at the upcoming Tech Convergence conference in Abuja. The event aims to establish strategic partnerships, clear policy directions, and spur innovation to position Nigeria as a leader in digital transformation in Africa.

With a focus on internet governance, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, the conference will convene top stakeholders from government, industry, academia, civil society, and the private sector. NiRA's president, Adesola Akinsanya, emphasized the importance of protecting digital sovereignty and fostering a conducive environment for digital growth in Nigeria and beyond.
