Rufai Oseni Challenges Peter Obi on Policy Clarity

Rufai Oseni, a presenter at Arise Television, criticized Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and former governor of Anambra State, for not clearly articulating how he would implement his policies during a recent interview. Speaking on the Arise Television Morning Show, Oseni stated that candidates must move beyond broad promises and present detailed policy frameworks, especially with the 2027 elections approaching.

He expressed disappointment in Obi's interview on Channels Television, noting the absence of specific methodologies for addressing key issues like insecurity and the power sector. Oseni argued that candidates should provide overarching details and methodologies rather than vague promises, emphasizing the need for comprehensive manifestos and technical plans.

He highlighted the importance of addressing Nigeria's power transmission issues and called for candidates to explain how they would create significant improvements in the sector.
