Pedro Neto Sets Records with Hat-Trick for Chelsea

In the FA Cup fourth round, Chelsea winger Pedro Neto achieved a remarkable feat by scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory against Hull City on Friday night. This performance not only secured Chelsea's qualification for the round of 16 but also set two significant records.

According to Opta, Neto's hat-trick was the first by a Chelsea player since Georg Hilsdon scored three goals against Middlesbrough in January 1909. Additionally, it marked the first-ever hat-trick scored by a top-flight player on a Friday, specifically on the 13th.

Neto, a 25-year-old Portuguese international who joined Chelsea from Wolverhampton, aims to lead his team under coach Liam Rosenior to victory in their next Premier League match against Burnley.
