FA Suspends Chelsea's Pedro Neto; Mendy Out for Madrid

The English Football Association (FA) has suspended Chelsea's Pedro Neto following his sending off during the 28th round match against Newcastle on March 15. Neto received two yellow cards and was reported for verbally abusing the referee as he left the pitch.

The FA confirmed the suspension and a fine of £70,000, with a written reason for the decision to be released later. In a separate development, Real Madrid announced that left-back Ferland Mendy has suffered a hamstring strain in his right leg, which will prevent him from participating in the second leg of the Champions League tie against Manchester City.

Mendy had started the first leg but was substituted at halftime. The club's medical team expects him to target a return for the Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid on March 22.
