FAAN Attains Dual ISO Certifications for Quality and Environmental Management Systems

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has successfully obtained dual ISO certifications - ISO 9001:2015 for quality management system and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management system. The certifications were presented to the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Mr.

Olubunmi Kuku, at FAAN's headquarters in Lagos. This achievement follows months of dedicated efforts, rigorous internal audits, and organizational improvements.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates FAAN's strong quality management system to consistently deliver services meeting customer expectations and improve operations. The ISO 14001:2015 certification confirms FAAN's effective environmental management activities, including waste reduction, pollution control, compliance with environmental laws, and promotion of sustainable operations.

The certifications were granted by MSECb Canada, affirming FAAN's compliance with global standards and positioning Nigeria's airport authority as a modern, competitive, and forward-looking organization in the aviation industry.
