FAAN Reviews Past Recruitment Exercises, 300 Staff Potentially Affected

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has commenced a review of previous recruitment exercises, with concerns raised about the placement procedures affecting around 300 employees. The review, led by FAAN's Managing Director Olubunmi Kuku, aims to address alleged breaches of recruitment guidelines and ensure fairness and transparency in the agency's human resource operations.

The ongoing verification exercise is focused on staff in the fire service and aviation security units, with reports of discrepancies in qualifications submitted during recruitment rounds from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, Air Peace's aircraft maintenance project is set to create thousands of jobs in West and Central Africa.
