FAAN Enhances Airport Security to Combat Staff Extortion and Passenger Solicitation

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is cracking down on staff extortion and passenger solicitation ahead of the Christmas holiday to ensure a smooth travel experience. FAAN is deploying additional security personnel at Murtala Muhammed International Airport to manage the expected increase in passenger traffic.

The agency is also enhancing passenger support services and working to streamline passenger processes. FAAN aims to curb unethical practices and improve customer service during the festive season.
